The Bugalugs Bum Thief tells the hilarious tale of the town of Bugalugs, where the residents wake up one morning to find their buttocks missing! Skeeta Anderson, along with his best mates Billy Marbles and Mick Misery, sets out to find the culprit. After much mayhem and madness, Skeeta finally unravels the mystery and Bugalugs returns to normal… well, almost. Everyone has claimed the wrong bum! The Bugalugs Bum Thief plays for three days at the Civic Theatre from 25 June. Performances include the family friendly opening night time of 6.30pm and then two shows daily.

Junior Masterchef is once again on our screens. For some reason, I find this version of Masterchef far more confronting than the adult series. While I am not bothered at all by adults preparing gourmet meals and intricate desserts, I find an 11-year-old who can debone a quail and temper their own chocolate vaguely intimidating, probably because they leave me with far less excuse for my own mediocre cooking skills.
