Review: “You could almost believe we’re listening to grown-up music for once,” was my husband’s comment when he first heard this CD. With its professional sound, it is certainly refreshing to listen to music which appeals to children and adults alike. All twenty-nine songs relate to travelling, with those specifically being about vehicles hitting all the right buttons with our two-year-old son. The grandparents get a kick out of hearing such classics as Ging Gang Gooli and I’ve Been Everywhere, while we, the parents, most enjoy those tracks that bring back the smells of our own childhoods: songs by the Beatles, Mah Na Mah Na, ‘80s hit I’m on my Way (appropriately sung with a Scottish accent!) and the now somewhat ironic, Leaving on a Jet Plane by John Denver. One for the whole family!
